Fees

PATIENT NOTICE – FEE INCREASE FROM 1ST SEPTEMBER 2025

With rising costs, we unfortunately have to increase our charges to maintain our high quality of care.
The new fee schedule is below:

Information included below:

What is mixed billing?

Mixed billing means that patients will now pay a ‘gap payment’ for appointments. A gap payment is an out-of-pocket cost that is the difference between the independent doctor’s private fee and your Medicare rebate.

However, your doctors will continue to bulk-bill some patients.

Access to healthcare is very important to your doctors. Therefore, your doctors will continue to bulk-bill certain patients.

Children under 16, Age Pensioners Concession card holders, HCC and DVA card holders will continue to be bulk-billed.

Chronic Disease Care Plans, Mental Health Care Plans and Covid Vaccines will continue to be Bulk Billed.

Your doctors are now privately billing on Saturdays. All patients with a consult on Saturday will incur a private fee. Your doctors will not be bulk-billing on Saturday.

You will be charged the full consultation fee to your credit or debit card at the end of your appointment. Full payment of your account is required on the day of consultation.

We can then electronically process your Medicare rebate on your behalf. The rebate should appear in your bank account within 1-2 business days. We recommend that you ensure your bank details are up to date on my.gov.au to avoid any delays in receiving your rebate. Patients who are not bulk-billed or concession card holders should expect to be billed by their doctor an out-of-pocket fee of approximately $40 for a standard consultation.

Your doctors also bill additional private fees for telehealth appointments.

Our reception staff will always try to give you the most accurate advice possible regarding the costs of your appointment ahead of time. However, please keep in mind that the billing is at your doctor’s discretion and the reception staff will only be able to offer advice you based on the information you provide and that your type of consultation may vary during your appointment with your doctor.

Key indicators that are considered by your doctor which will change the cost of your appointment include the length (time) of your appointment, how many issues you discuss with your doctor, and whether there is a procedure involved in your appointment. Your doctors have tried their best to keep the gap payment as consistent as possible across all appointment types so that patients do not experience too much variation.

A $30.00 non-attendance fee is charged by your doctors for all appointments not cancelled within 2 hours of the appointment time and will need to be paid prior to any future appointments.
