Dr Bhavik Damodar

Principal Doctor – M.B.B.S.(QLD)F.R.A.C.G.P

Graduated from the University of Queensland and trained at the Princess Alexandra Hospital, Logan Hospital and Prince Charles Hospital. He became a fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners and has worked at Sunnybank Hills, Beaudesert, and Albany Creek Medical Centres. He started this Jindalee Care Medical Practice on the 21st of February 2005. His special interests are family medicine, paediatrics, travel medicine, skin cancer and surgical procedures.

Dr Shanli Liu

M.B.B.S F.R.A.C.G.P

Dr Liu is  a fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners. She has over twenty years experience practicing as a doctor in urban and rural settings in Queensland. Dr Liu has a holistic approach to healthcare. Beyond general practice, she has interests in women and children’s health.

She has had special training and experience in kyleena, mirena and implanon insertion and removal. She also has had substantial experience in antenatal care, skin checks, minor procedures, iron infusion, travel medicine and immunisation.

Dr Liu strives for optimal health outcomes through preventive medicine, life style management and continuity of care. Dr Liu speaks English, Cantonese and Mandarin.

Dr Poppy Rajaratnam

M.B.B.S F.R.A.C.G.P

Works part time. She has worked at Prince Charles Hospital, Redcliffe Hospital, Caboolture and Greenslopes Hospitals. She has also worked at Kedron, Carseldine and Inala Medical Centres.

She speaks fluent English and Tamil. She enjoys general practice and her special interests are Women’s and Child Health.

Dr Poppy has consulted from Jindalee Care Medical Practice since 2008.

Dr Hong Shi

M.B.B.S; Mphil; F.R.A.C.G.P; DRANZCOG

Dr Shi has many years post graduated experience in medicine including hospital experience in accident and emergency, general medicine, surgery and extensive skills in obstetrics and gynaecology, as well as training in procedural G.P. She is vocationally registered and committed to continuing medical education and quality assurance in keeping with the principles of the RACGP.

Dr Shi is interested in all aspects of general practice, specialising in

  • Women’s health including antenatal care and, family planning procedures, including implanon and IUD insertion/removal.
  • Skin cancer diagnosis and treatment, including managing complicated and difficult skin cancer lesions located on the face, nose and ears.
  • Chronic Disease management such as diabetes and hypertension.

She is totally committed to providing comprehensive general practice care to all individuals and families who attend.

Dr Jessica Legrand

M.B,B.S.F.R.A.C.G.P

Work experiences include hospital and GP work in Poland and in Australia since 1999.  Hospital work involved rotations and residency programs at Mater Public Hospital and Ipswich Hospital where Jessica worked in the emergency department for 3 years.  For the last 6 years she has been working as a G.P.  Previous employment was in Plainland and Gatton.  Jessica enjoys all aspects of general practice.

Dr Rumna De

F.R.A.C.G.P; M.B.B.S; MPH

Dr De has over 25 years of experience in general practice in Australia and overseas. Over the past 10 years, she has worked at clinics in Inala, Calamvale, The Gap, Meadowbrook, Jimboomba and Waterford and she also trained at Redland Hospital. Dr De received her Master of Public Health from the University of Queensland and likes to practice evidence-based medicine. Dr De’s special interests are preventative health, women and children’s health, musculoskeletal problems, travel medicine and mental health. Dr De is able to provide shared care with the Mater Hospital for pregnant women and is also trained in implanonTM insertion and removal. Dr De speaks fluent English, Bengali and Hindi. Dr De strives to provide holistic healthcare to her patients.

Dr Eve Jenkins

BSc MBBS FRACGP

Dr Jenkins graduated from the University of Queensland in 2011 and trained at Nambour Hospital and The Prince Charles Hospital. Since starting at Jindalee Care in 2016 she completed her specialist training and was awarded the Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners in 2018, at which point she began consulting from the practice. Dr Jenkins is a thorough and caring doctor who will give you the time you need to work through any problem. Feel free to ask our receptionists for a double appointment if you have complex issues to discuss. Dr Jenkins is focused on holistic care, preventative health, women’s health, cardiovascular medicine and mental health. Dr Jenkins is an LGBTQI+ friendly GP who is happy to discuss sexual health. Eve grew up here in Brisbane’s beautiful western suburbs and loves spending her spare time enjoying our local parks and playgrounds with her son. Dr Eve Jenkins is available for consultation on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and one Saturday a month.

Dr Tony Liu

BSc MBBS FRACGP

Dr Tony Liu provides general medical care to patients, diagnosing and treating a wide range of medical conditions and health issues. He has experience supporting patients of all ages including infants and has a special interest in chronic disease management in the elderly.

Dr Liu graduated with a Bachelor of Science, Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery (BSc/MBBS) from the University of Queensland in 2016. He is a fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (RACGP) and is registered with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).

He has trained and worked at the Redcliffe Hospital and The Prince Charles Hospital across multiple specialties, and has experience working as a general medicine and intensive care unit registrar. He has also completed further postgraduate studies with the Sydney Child Health Program. Dr Liu is passionate about medical education and holds an Associate Lecturer title at the University of Queensland and works part-time tutoring at UQ School of Medicine.

Dr Liu takes pride in making a difference in people’s lives through the provision of evidence-based and holistic care. Dr Liu’s passion is in people, and is patient-centric in his approach to practice – he enjoys building and nurturing trusted relationships with others.

When not improving patients’ lives, Dr Liu is improving his own through fitness activities including tennis and weight training. He’s also an avid NBA and Formula One fan.

Dr Luke Pham

Dr Luke graduated from Griffith Medical School in 2021 and is currently a GP registrar with the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (RACGP). With a keen interest in all aspects of medicine, he has accumulated valuable experience in general medicine, emergency medicine, pediatrics, mental health, and rehabilitation. Much of his clinical background was acquired at the Princess Alexandra Hospital, contributing to a diverse skill set and a comprehensive understanding of medical care. Committed to continuous learning and dedicated patient care, Dr Luke strives for excellence in the field of general practice.

Dr Shaun McCrystal

BMedLabSc, BSc(Hons)(Biochem), MBBS, MTrauma

Dr McCrystal is a GPT1 South Eastern QLD General Pathway trainee commencing at Jindalee Care Medical Practice from 2024. Dr McCrystal graduated from The University of Queensland in 2009 and possesses broad and extensive knowledge and experience in General Surgery, Urology, Radiology and Medical Imaging, Trauma, Intensive Care, and Emergency Medicine, with a strong foundation in Medical and Laboratory Science. Dr McCrystal is also an Associate Lecturer for The University of Queensland, delivery formal teachings to medical students.

Timeka started her health career in 2017 as an enrolled nurse before furthering her education by completing a Bachelor of Nursing from USQ to become a Registered Nurse.

She has a background in aged care, mental health and forensic nursing before joining general practice in 2021.

She has a strong interest in chronic disease management, patient education and strives to create a welcoming and empowering space for her patients.
