Kushal takes a thorough and careful approach in the care of his patients. He has extensive experience working over 23 years as a medical practitioner, 19 years of which has been in southeast Queensland.
He has served as a Senior Medical Officer in Emergency Departments at hospitals in Brisbane and Noosa before earning his Fellowship in General Practice on the Sunshine Coast. His qualifications include a Diploma in Child Health, a Diploma in Dermatology, and a Certificate in Emergency Medicine.
Kushal is committed to providing high-quality, evidence-based care, with a strong focus on preventative medicine. He believes in a systematic and timely approach, guided by the latest clinical guidelines, to help patients achieve long-term health and wellbeing.
He also works as a clinical director in an Urgent Care centre.
In addition to his clinical work, Kushal contributes to the medical community by supervising and mentoring medical students, sharing his knowledge and promoting best practices in patient care.
Dr Rao works Monday, Wednesday and Friday.
